We had another close game in the Rossendale K/O cup at home against Bacup Park. We won the game by 2 chalks. Damp conditions made the green a bit of a level playing field. I managed to turn around my poor starting form to make a comeback and win 21-20.
We had a close affair against league title contenders Sunnybank. Both teams getting 4 winners each with us just losing out by 4 chalks. John Tattersall was our best with a 21-6 win.
After 3 defeats against Greenfield, we had 1 last chance for a win. We were down to 7 men though and missed the win by just 4 pts after I managed a 21-4 victory!
